Team JEMBusiness Consulting
When you run a business, the urgent always wins. The work that would move it forward keeps getting pushed to tomorrow.
I bring 18 years of hands-on business ownership experience and an outside perspective. I’ll help you see your business clearly and put the right changes in place, so it doesn’t depend on you for everything.

The details are different in every business, but some situations are familiar:
You keep saying you’ll figure it out yourself. You haven’t. You won’t. Not without help.
If you nodded even once, let’s talkMost owners don’t need another system. They need someone to step back with them, look closely at how the business runs, and help put the right changes in place. I work one step at a time, at a pace that fits your business.
Get a clear picture of what’s happening and what’s getting in the way.
Look at the realistic options, the tradeoffs, and what your team and budget can actually take on.
Turn the best path into simple next steps, and help you put them in place.

Practical changes built around the way your team works. Sometimes that means a new tool or AI, but often it’s simply a better way of doing things.
Help putting it in place, because a plan nobody carries out is just a document. I walk your team through the changes and stay involved through the transition.
Once the foundation is built, I can take over part of the work, like social media, client follow-up, or keeping your website visible on Google. You get an experienced operations person without a full-time hire.
Background
For 18 years I owned and ran a high-volume The UPS Store franchise. Like a lot of owners, I started as the answer to every question: hiring, payroll, pricing, leases, customers. Even with a franchise’s systems behind me, it was relentless.
I built a business that ran without me there every day. Then I sold it.
That didn’t happen by accident. I handed real responsibility to my managers, made sure the systems fit how the business really worked, and stepped back one piece at a time. A business that doesn’t depend on its owner for everything is one someone else wants to own.
That’s the outcome I help owners work toward. Whether you want your evenings back, room to grow, or a business you can someday sell, it starts with a business that doesn’t need you for everything.
And if I could do one thing differently, I’d have paid for help sooner. I kept telling myself I’d learn it and get to it myself. Most of the time, I never did. That’s a big part of why I do this work now.
If you’re working through a business challenge or considering what comes next, I’d be glad to hear about it. Tell me a little about what you’re working on and what you’d like to accomplish.
No pitch. Just a conversation.
Thank you for sharing this. I look forward to connecting.
